Zebulon Baptist Church is excited to welcome your children back this summer for Vacation Bible School. This summer we plan to have one session on June 24-28, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for rising Kindergarteners to rising Eighth graders.
Each day, campers will see Counselor Sam, a new camp counselor, face new challenges. With the help of Lu the Lightning Bug and the Camp Counselor Guidebook, Counselor Sam and our campers explore timeless Bible stories from both the Old and New Testament. These Bible stories will show how to put trust in God in the face of one’s own fears and how to do great things in God’s name. Campers will participate in music, arts, recreation, snacks, activities, and Bible lessons to teach us to trust in God to go with us, lead the way, to share wisdom, to give peace, and to spark joy.
On Thursday evening, please plan to join us for a hotdog dinner at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. After eating and fellowshipping, we will gather in the Sanctuary so that the children can share and show all that they have learned during the week.
Registration will open on May 1, 2024 on the church website (www.myzbc.org) and will be open until June 21, 2024. Please make sure to register your children during this time. If you have volunteered, please plan to meet on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall to receive your VBS materials. Please mark your calendars for Sunday, June 2, 2024 (in the Blue Room) for craft day. Craft day will commence right after worship with pizza for all volunteers and last for as long as needed. Please bring all ideas! If you have any questions, please contact Elizabeth Robertson at erobertson6207@aol.com or Shannon Speller at
