We still need YOU! As part of the re-engagement plan at ZBC, we have modified our VBS schedule to better meet the challenges of the Covid-19 guidelines. VBS will now be in three sessions:
Session 1: July 13th-17th from 9a.m.-12noon for rising Kindergarten – 2nd grades
Session 2: July 13th -17th from 6p.m. – 9p.m. for rising 6th – 8th grades
Session 3: July 20th-24th from 9a.m.-12noon for rising 3rd -5th grades
Each session will consist of three classes with ten students per class. To make this happen, we still need a few more teachers and a recreation leader for Session 3. Please let Valerie Shelton or Shannon Speller know if you are able to help. vbshelton@nc.rr.com or Shannon.Speller@myZBC.org
We are looking forward to a fun filled VBS as we invite children to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of God’s power while learning how we put on the armor of God. We’ll explore Old and New Testament stories and discover different pieces of protective armor—the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Justice, the Shoes of Peace, the Shield of Faith, and the Helmet of Salvation—at work in the lives of familiar Bible characters, and explore how that armor works in their own lives as they follow and serve God.
