Friends, we have been apart so long! As we begin to gather again (albeit in small groups), it is fitting we take time to put ourselves and our futures in God’s hands and offer praise. So on Sunday, June 14 at 12:00 noon, we will have a time of prayer in the sanctuary. The service will take place in three parts. The first section will be “Lament,” followed by “Petition,” and ending with “Thanksgiving and Praise.” There will also be time for silent prayer. Following the days of uncertainty and unrest we have recently lived, this will be an opportunity to bring our sorrows, uncertainties, and any fears to God; seek God’s forgiveness; pray for God’s guidance and praise God’s name.
The service will be brief (around 40 minutes), and because we must limit our participation, we ask that you sign up by calling the office at 919-269-7329 or email candace.heath@myzbc.org. Our limit will be 50 participants, and we will observe good social distancing.
