A Summer Camp Adventure with God
June 24th – June 28th, 2024 (Monday through Friday) 9:00 am – 12:00 noon
We are once again excited to welcome your children back to Vacation Bible School here at Zebulon Baptist Church! Classes will be available for rising Kindergarteners to rising Eighth graders. Before each day begins, we will all gather in the fellowship hall. We will utilize the back portico (facing Shepard School Road) for drop off and pick up. There will be someone outside to welcome your children and escort them into the building. If you would prefer, you are more than welcome to escort your child into the fellowship hall.
Each day, Campers will see Counselor Sam, a new camp counselor, and face new challenges. With the help of Lu the Lightning Bug and the Camp Counselor Guidebook, Counselor Sam and our Campers explore timeless Bible stories from both the Old and New Testament. These Bible stories will show how to put trust in God in the face of one’s own fears and how to do great things in God’s name. Campers will participate in music, arts, recreation, snacks, activities, and Bible lessons to teach us to trust in God to go with us, to lead the way, to share wisdom, to give us peace, and to spark joy.
We will ask that each of our Campers bring non-perishable food items each day to help stock our ZBC food pantry. We will also be taking up an offering during the morning assembly to assist further in mission ventures. Below is a list of the color of the day and the food pantry item as well as the Bible story for each day of the week.
