In the past we called it “Sweet Tea and Theology.” In reality, the first goal was to create a safe space for persons to share openly and transparently with one another – in a space where there is no judgment, no condemnation, no shaming, and no breach of confidence. The second goal was to see the conversation as sacred – a conversation among sisters and brothers in Christ where the Holy Spirit is surely present and active. So this year we are inviting you to come and enjoy “Safe, Sacred Space” – a conversation open to anyone. Bring a comfortable chair, a beverage to enjoy, and a willingness to listen and to share. The first conversation will be Sunday evening, April 25, from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. Join us out on the patio of the Shepard School Road side of Building D for “Safe, Sacred Space”.
