Those that are leading in worship will need to meet in the choir room after teaching Sunday School. After worship we will enjoy lunch together in the Fellowship Hall. During the month of March, Sundays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Parlor

Grief is a part of living. Grief reminds us that we have loved and have been loved, and grief is hard. Grief is not a linear timeline and it does not have to be experienced in solitude. If you are grieving and desire to gather with others for support and a space to move forward with your grief, we welcome you to join us for our Grief Support Group, led by Associate Pastor Melissa Willis. Please contact Sherry in the ZBC office (sherry.edwards@myzbc.org) or 919-269-7329 to sign up. If you have any questions, please contact Melissa at melissa.willis@myzbc.org or 919-269-7329, ext. 114.

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday marks the start of the season of Lent, when we symbolically walk with Jesus on his journey toward his crucifixion and resurrection, contemplating our own need for mercy and salvation. For centuries, Christians have gathered on Ash Wednesday to receive a cross of ashes on their foreheads as a symbol of repentance. Join us in our sanctuary at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, as we begin our Lenten journeys.

There will be games, bounce houses, face painting, pumpkin painting and  hot dog dinner on our front lawn followed by our annual Trunk-Or-Treat! This event was a huge success last year and is a wonderful outreach event for the community!

An event of this size takes a lot of helping hands... there are many ways to volunteer! We will need help setting up and breaking down, friendly faces at our church outreach table, candy donations and more. Please sign up for different volunteer opportunities by clicking below.

Candy Drive

All families in our community are welcome to our Trunk or Treat event and with higher attendance comes a need for more candy! If you are not planning on participating by hosting a vehicle that gives out candy, please consider donating a bag (or five!) of individually wrapped candy to keep all our "trunks" stocked. Please drop off bags of candy at the church office by lunchtime on Sunday, October 27th.
